We are late arriving in Jamaica Plain, miss the first set. A couple of random sets, names from the hat, then Lak Wright with Steve Norton sitting in, and finally a couple of more random sets. Shrymprov 1, a new series, is off to a good start. I will be back next month.

Jen gets up at the crack of dawn, heads off to rehearsal at the HS. I get up shortly thereafter. I’m rummaging around in the kitchen when Jen returns. Jen makes coffee and quiche, we go over plans for XFest 2014 coming up February 21-23 in Holyoke. Scott and Steph join us.

Scott takes off ’round noon. Jen, Steph and I head downtown to meet Dan Greenwood aka GUTS Diagram-A at his loft space. Dan and his partner Alicia Renadette are working on an installation for this coming January – February at 119 Gallery. Jen leaves for an afternoon class. Steph and I visit for awhile. Dan is researching the Telharmonium, designed and constructed by Thaddeus Cahill in 1867, in Holyoke. An early version was installed in a hotel directly across the street from Dan’s loft.
